Guest Conduct
Purpose
To ensure a safe, respectful, and enjoyable environment for all guests, employees, and animals, this Guest Conduct Policy establishes clear expectations for behavior while visiting the property.
Scope
This policy applies to all visitors, guests, vendors, contractors, and participants attending or accessing the property of [Your Farm / Venue Name].
General Expectations
All guests are expected to:
- Follow all posted rules, signage, and staff instructions
- Act in a respectful and courteous manner toward others
- Supervise children at all times
- Respect farm property, equipment, animals, and crops
- Comply with all local, state, and federal laws
Safety Rules
For the safety of all visitors:
- Stay within designated public areas at all times
- Do not enter restricted or employee-only areas
- Do not climb on fences, structures, equipment, or displays
- Wear appropriate footwear (closed-toe shoes strongly recommended)
- Follow all safety instructions for attractions and activities
- Report hazards, injuries, or unsafe behavior to staff immediately
Children & Supervision
- Children must be supervised by a responsible adult (18+) at all times
- Parents/guardians are responsible for the actions and safety of minors in their care
- Running, roughhousing, or unsafe play is not permitted
Animal Interaction
- Do not feed, chase, or handle animals unless explicitly permitted
- Follow all posted animal interaction guidelines
- Wash hands after touching animals
- Report any animal concerns to staff immediately
Respect for Property
Guests must:
- Not damage, remove, or tamper with farm property
- Dispose of trash in designated receptacles
- Respect crops—no picking unless in designated pick-your-own areas
- Be financially responsible for any damage caused
Prohibited Conduct
The following behaviors are strictly prohibited:
- Disorderly, disruptive, or unsafe behavior
- Harassment, intimidation, or abusive language toward guests or staff
- Theft, vandalism, or destruction of property
- Possession or use of illegal substances
- Smoking or vaping outside designated areas
- Bringing outside alcohol unless explicitly permitted
- Unauthorized use of equipment or machinery
Photography & Recording
- Guests may not photograph or record other guests without their consent
- Commercial photography, filming, or drone use is prohibited without prior written approval
- The venue may capture photos/video for marketing purposes; entry constitutes consent unless otherwise stated
Animals & Pets
- Only service animals are permitted, in accordance with applicable law
- Pets and emotional support animals are not allowed unless specifically approved
Parking & Traffic
- Park only in designated areas
- Follow all traffic flow signs and staff directions
- Drive slowly and cautiously due to pedestrian traffic
Weather & Farm Conditions
Agritourism environments include uneven terrain, mud, dust, insects, and changing weather
Guests assume responsibility for appropriate attire and awareness of surroundings
Compliance & Enforcement
Failure to comply with this policy may result in:
- Verbal warning
- Suspension of future visitation privileges
- Notification of law enforcement if necessary
No Refund for Removal Due to Conduct Violations
Any guest who is asked to leave the property due to a violation of this Guest Conduct Policy, unsafe behavior, failure to follow staff instructions, or any prohibited conduct will not be eligible for a refund of admission fees, tickets, purchases, or any other payments made. This policy applies regardless of the length of time the guest has been on the property prior to removal.
Assumption of Risk
By entering the property, guests acknowledge that agritourism activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to:
- Uneven ground and natural hazards
- Interaction with animals
- Farm equipment and structures
Guests voluntarily assume all such risks.
Filming and Photography

Purpose
To protect the privacy, safety, and experience of all guests while allowing the business to capture and use media for marketing and operational purposes.
Policy Statement
We are committed to providing a safe, respectful, and enjoyable environment for all guests. Unauthorized filming, photography, or recording of other guests, staff, or private areas is strictly prohibited.
Guest Photography & Filming Rules
Guests are welcome to take photos and videos for personal use only, subject to the following conditions:
- Guests must not photograph or record other guests without their express consent
- Photography must not interfere with operations, staff duties, or guest experience
- Use of tripods, lighting equipment, props, or staged shoots is prohibited unless approved
- Photography in restricted or staff-only areas is strictly prohibited
- Any activity deemed unsafe or disruptive will not be permitted
Prohibited Activities
The following are strictly prohibited:
- Filming or photographing other guests, especially minors, without permission
- Commercial photography or videography without prior written approval
- Use of drones (see Drone Policy – drones are not permitted)
- Recording incidents, accidents, or staff interactions in a disruptive manner
- Harassment or invasive behavior involving cameras or recording devices
Commercial Photography & Media Requests
All commercial filming, photography sessions, influencers, or media requests must:
- Be pre-approved in writing by management
- Provide proof of insurance, if required
- Sign a media agreement and liability waiver
- Follow all operational and safety rulesFailure to obtain approval may result in removal from the property.
Business Photography & Filming
We may capture photos and videos on the premises for:
- Marketing and promotional materials
- Social media, website, and advertising use
- Documentation of events and activities
By entering the property, guests acknowledge:
- They may be photographed or recorded in public areas
- These images may be used without compensation
Opt-Out Process
Guests who do not wish to appear in photos or videos should:
- Notify a staff member upon arrival
- Make reasonable efforts to avoid areas where filming is actively taking place
While we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requests, we cannot guarantee complete exclusion from all media.
Enforcement
Failure to comply with this policy may result in:
- Immediate request to stop filming or photographing
- Removal from the property without refund
- Possible banning from future visits
Drone Policy
Policy Statement
To protect the safety, privacy, and overall experience of our guests, employees, and animals, the use of drones (Unmanned Aircraft Systems – UAS) is prohibited on all property owned, leased, or operated by the business.
Scope
This policy applies to:
- All guests, visitors, vendors, contractors, and employees
- All areas of the property, including parking lots, fields, attractions, buildings, and surrounding airspace
- Prohibited Activities
The following activities are not permitted under any circumstances:
- Launching, landing, or operating drones on the property
- Flying drones over any portion of the property
- Operating drones from adjacent properties in a manner that captures images, video, or audio of the premises or guests
- Delivering or dropping any object via drone
Rationale
Drone use is prohibited for the following reasons:
- Safety Risks
- Risk of injury to guests, especially children
- Interference with emergency response operations
- Potential to startle animals, causing unpredictable behavior
- Privacy Protection
- Guests have a reasonable expectation of privacy
- Unauthorized recordings or photography may violate privacy laws
- Liability Exposure
- Increased insurance and legal risks associated with unauthorized drone use
- Potential property damage or personal injury claims
- Guest Experience
- Noise and visual disruption negatively impact the farm experience
Authorized Use Exception
- Drone use is only permitted when ALL the following conditions are met:
- Prior written approval from management
- Operated by an authorized and licensed drone operator
- Proof of insurance provided
- Conducted during approved times and under controlled conditions
- Marketing or promotional photography/videography
- Inspections or operational needs
- Enforcement
- Any individual found operating a drone will be required to immediately cease operation and leave the property
- No refunds will be issued
- Law enforcement may be contacted if necessary
- The business reserves the right to take further legal action
Reporting Violations
Employees or guests should:
- Immediately notify a supervisor or manager
- Avoid confronting the operator directly if unsafe
- Document the incident, including time, location, and description
